Several people have had larger leverages in my life. Photography if anything has contributed collectively to my way of being. Receiving a National Endowment of the Arts grant/fellowship as such a young age gave me permission to dream intellectually, to make photographs everyday, and a realization that making and doing had no tolerance for excuses, procrastination or rejecting luck. But all told, it is people who have supported, encouraged, prodded, teased, responded to me that have made me into the self of today. Some are gone.
